2 Chronicles 1:7–12 – God Grants Wisdom
What happens: God appears to Solomon at night and invites him to ask for anything. Solomon asks for wisdom and knowledge to govern the people, and God grants both, also promising wealth and honor.
What it means: God delights to give wisdom to those who ask for it for the good of His people. Prioritizing God’s purposes over personal gain reflects faith and humility, and God often adds what we did not seek.
