Proverbs 8:22–31 – Wisdom before and during Creation
What happens: Wisdom says the Lord possessed her at the beginning, before His works. She is present as God forms the heavens, seas, and earth. She rejoices before Him and delights in the children of man.

Proverbs 8:32–36 – Life for Listeners, Death for Rejecters
What happens: Blessed are those who hear, watch, and wait daily at wisdom’s doors. Whoever finds wisdom finds life and favor from the Lord. Whoever sins against wisdom wrongs his own soul and loves death.
