Summary
Psalm 14:1–3 – Folly denies God What happens: The fool says there is no God; all turn aside and do corrupt deeds. What it means: Atheistic living is moral rebellion. Sin is universal and requires grace.
Psalm 14:4–6 – God with the righteous What happens: Evildoers oppress God’s people, but the Lord is their refuge. What it means: God sides with the humble who seek Him. Oppression will not erase His care.
Psalm 14:7 – Hope from Zion What happens: The psalmist longs for salvation to come from Zion and for Jacob to rejoice. What it means: God promises deliverance for His people. Hope looks to God’s saving act.
