Psalm 27:1–3 – Confidence in the Lord What happens: The Lord is David’s light and salvation, so he does not fear. Enemies rise, but his heart stays confident. What it means: God’s presence drives out fear. Faith rests in the character of God, not changing threats.
Psalm 27:4–6 – One thing I ask What happens: David longs to dwell in God’s house, to gaze on His beauty, and to be lifted high above enemies. What it means: Worship centers life. God delights to shelter those who seek His face.
