Psalm 98:1–3 – New song for revealed salvation What happens: God’s right hand wins salvation; He makes it known to the nations. All see His righteousness and steadfast love. What it means: God’s saving work is public. Grace is meant to be seen and sung.
Psalm 98:4–6 – Joyful noise with instruments What happens: All the earth is called to shout with lyre and trumpets before the King. What it means: Worship engages body and art. God’s kingship deserves exuberant praise.
Psalm 98:7–9 – Judge of the world What happens: Sea, rivers, and hills rejoice for He comes to judge the earth in righteousness. What it means: God’s judgment restores creation. Justice and equity are His standard.
