What happens: She says, “I am my beloved’s, and his desire is for me.” She invites him to the fields and villages, to the vineyards in bloom. She has stored up choice fruits for him.
What it means: Mutual desire and initiative enrich love. Shared experiences renew affection. Godly marriage welcomes planned time and thoughtful gifts.
